Software for Testing Systems

Group

A key element of any industrial testing system is the software. Only user-friendly, powerful software that can meet the rising demands of users and companies on the software and its development succeeds in the market.

The "Software for Testing Electronics" group develops NDT software for phased array, eddy current, and conventional ultrasonics applications. The group's development goals are defined through users' requirements as well as the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. Focus is on maximizing interoperability and user acceptance in realizing complex test scenarios according to standards. This is done with the help of clearly defined interfaces and modules for integration into existing automation concepts. Solutions meeting the increasing demands on integration, efficiency, and connecting of the components used in an industrial environment are created.

The PCUS® pro-LAB software suite sets new standards in execution and visualization of automated and semiautomated ultrasonic tests via individual emitters or emitter clusters. The modular software can be flexibly extended to perform a wide range of test tasks with high efficiency. Users are thereby supported in creating parameter sets for materials, parts, wedges, and the test itself and administering them in a database.
