International Zeolite Membrane Meeting IZMM 2026

The committee of the 2026 International Zeolite Membrane Meeting (IZMM) is very pleased to invite experts from the field of membrane technology – particularly researchers working in the field of microporous inorganic membranes based on zeolites and related materials – to the 10th International Zeolite Membrane Meeting from June 22 – 26, 2026, in Jena, Germany.

The IZMM has found a permanent time slot in the busy calendar in-between international conferences every three years. Thanks to its special character as a workshop with intensive technical discussions, the IZMM is an important forum that brings senior experts and young researchers together, offering a great scientific exchange experience with a family-like atmosphere.

The IZMM offers an interdisciplinary environment that brings natural sciences, materials sciences and process engineering together. The event addresses research with a clear focus on microporous membranes and thin films which aims to inspire all participants with new ideas through presentations of the most recent developments in the field.

Jena is an international, diverse city renowned as a place for science and discovery. Its beautiful location laying between rolling hills in the middle of the “green heart” of Germany with a historic old town, is characterized by medieval castles and picturesque natural surroundings.

The IZMM 2026 in Jena is hosted by Fraunhofer IKTS – a globally recognized institution in the development, scaling, and application of microporous membranes – and by the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena – actively advancing the development of new classes of materials for microporous membranes.

Together, we aim to make the 10th IZMM in Jena a successful and inspiring experience for everyone and we look forward to welcoming you.
