Albocer® – coating of fiber reinforced materials

Composites like carbon fiber – or glass fiber reinforced materials (CRP/GRP) are excellent suitable for constructional applications.  There are characterized by low density and high strength. By reason of a limited abrasion resistant surface many fields of application cannot be realized.

CRP- and GRP-rolls and sleeves coated by ALBOCER^®- technique are internal developments with unique features. The ALBOCER^®- process enables a coating of polymer composites in different geometries with ceramics and metals. A realized high peel strength of the coatings on polymer substrates so far is unique. So the dissatisfying abrasion resistance of fiber reinforces materials is raised to the level of hard materials.

ALBOCER^® in association with the atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) enables coating of rolls, tubes and plane components.
